ABSTRACT
We develop a metal-organic-framework-derived heterostructure as a high-performance sodium-ion battery anode. The Co9S8@NiFeS2 anode displays a capacity of 429.2 mAh g-1 after 1500 cycles at 1 A g-1 with a good retention rate, and retains 331.3 mAh g-1 after 3100 cycles at 5 A g-1. Stable capacities at -10 °C and 50 °C are achievable, indicating that this design has potential for developing high-performance energy-storage composites.
